Go to this Maths Is Fun website to start your fractventure!
FOlding time!!
PART 1
1. Grab a piece of A4 paper
2. Fold it in half
3. Unfold your paper
4. Now fold it in half a different way
5. Unfold your paper again
6. Now fit in half a different way (if you can't think of another way then ask a friend)
7. Find out how many ways you can fold your paper in half and draw in your maths book
8. Write in your maths book how you could check if your fold is exactly in half?
Part 2

2. Fold your paper into thirds (three even parts)
3. Lay your paper out flat so you can see the folds (should have 2 folds on your paper)
4. Now fold your paper into sixths (6 even parts)
5. Make it flat again
6. Fold your paper into fifths now
7. Show what you did to a friend
